Recently, we built a brand new 18,000-square-foot facility on Florida’s Space Coast. BGA Reballing Services
BGAs, or ball grid arrays, are a type of circuit board array that features a grid of soldered metal balls to establish a connection with a printed circuit board. While BGAs are more durable than traditional arrays, extended usage or exposure to harsh conditions can loosen the connections over time. When this occurs, unwanted bridges between connections can occur, as well as unreliable performance.
The solution to these issues is to re-solder the balls onto the BGA grid, restoring their original performance and reliability. At SemiPack, our BGA reballing service quickly restores components back to their original specifications. Robotic Tinning Services
Our fully automated tinning services restore leads’ finish and soldering properties in both through-hole and surface-mount devices. We provide both RoHS-SnPb and SnPb-RoHS conversions and process all tinned components according to the requirements and specifications our customers request, including military specifications and GEIA-006 specifications.
Trim & Form Processing Services
We provide a full range of trim and form services, including:

Manual and Automated Tape & Reel Services
Tape and reel services involve carefully packaging electronic components into individual pockets made from carrier tape. The pockets are then sealed with a cover tape and the carrier tape is then wound around a reel before finally being enclosed within a reel box. This process ensures the safety of delicate electronic components during transport and storage.
At SemiPack, our tape and reel services are handled with care. We use only the most suitable materials for each project to prevent electrostatic discharge failures and problems with loading and unloading. With our expertise, retrieving and mounting electronic components is simple.
